Norman N. Sorensen, Audiologist, Owner

Norman N. Sorensen

Audiologist, Owner

Norman is a native of Wyoming, and has been in Rapid City with Mountain Plains Audiology since November 1999.

Norman graduated from Utah State University in 1992 with a B.S. in Communication Disorders, and from Ohio University in 1994 with an MA in Hearing and Speech Sciences- Audiology. He has previously worked in a hospital in Texas and an ENT clinic in Oregon prior to coming to South Dakota. Norman especially enjoys educating people about hearing loss and how to prevent it, as well as helping those with hearing loss to enjoy their friends and family relations through better hearing.

Norman and his wife Terri have five children: Ashley, Emily, Caitlyn, Wesley, and Edwin. Norman enjoys spending time with his family, is active in church and in the Boys Scouts, and enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, and riding his horses. The Sorensen family currently reside near Hermosa and spend their spare time exploring the Black Hills.

Terri enjoys meeting our patients and helping them to feel comfortable in our office. She spends her free time reading, doing cross-stitch, gardening, and watching over her family.

Aleesha

Office Manager

Aleesha has worked for Mountain Plains Audiology since February of 2023. She has lived in Rapid City since 2017.

Aleesha enjoys spending time with her three children and family out camping or just sitting around a campfire in the backyard. Aleesha has a background in working for Assisted Living and absolutely loves to help our clients with their hearing health. Aleesha is always joyfully waiting for our next patient to arrive and make sure they get the best friendly service and that they leave with everything they need to continue engaging in conversations with their family and friends.
